PURPOSE:To transmit smoothly and surely the change-speed operation of a gear shift lever to a remote control section of a transmission box by giving axial motion to an inner tube and a cable independently. CONSTITUTION:In tilting the gear shift lever 2 in the arrow (x), an arm 20 is tilted around a spherical bearing 3. A bell crank 9 having an opening 8 engaged with the arm 20 is turned around a support shaft 30. The turning of the bell crank 9 pushes an arm 14 fixed to the inner tube 16 via a link 12 to move the inner tube 16 in axial direction. Thus, the selection of the speed change gears is selected. In tilting the gear shift lever 2 in the arrow (y), a cable 15 connected to the lower end moves directly axially to attain meshing of the prescribed gears. Thus, the change-speed operation of the gear shift lever is transmitted smoothly and surely to the remote control part of the trans mission. |
