Removing deep-rooting plants from lawns - using hand-held implement with cutting sleeve at end of handle

The implement is for removing plants, deep-rooting weeds (16), from the ground (17). It has a sleeve (3) attached at the bottom of a handle (1) in more-or-less the same axis as the handle. At the open end of the sleeve (3) is an edge (14) formed like a knife blade. The sleeve also has one or two tread-bars (11,13) for pressing it down with the foot. USE/ADVANTAGE - The implement is simple and effective for removing deep-rooting weeds from lawns.
