A means of fixing movable partitions for spaces or balconies has struts which can be inserted between wall panels in a building and to which the partitions can be attached. The partitions are hinged on the one side (at least) and can be gripped by devices on the other side. The hinged point can be moved (within a range) in relation to one fixed wall feature or part of the building. A preferred partition is made of transparent polymethacrylate, and fixings can include a rubber member. ADVANTAGE - The system enables partitions plus strut to be positioned wherever required and without any great problem.
