PURPOSE:To enable measurement of permeability of gasoline quickly with a low-cost measuring machine depending on the amount of a sealer with which a resin layer is impregnated. CONSTITUTION:A waveform of the reflected wave from a probe 10 which receives the waveform of an ultrasonic wave irradiated to a resin layer impregnated with a sealer material is stored into a memory section 21. A reference waveform is read out of a reference waveform memory section 23 into which a reference wave form is stored for the reflected wave as obtained when the ultrasonic wave is made to irradiate the resin layer impregnated with no sealer and a part corresponding to the reference waveform is removed from the waveform of the reflected wave stored into the memory section 21 individually and the residual waveform after the removal is computed with an integration circuit 26. Then, the residual waveform is compared with a residual waveform which is computed according to a data table having a relationship between the amount of the residual waveform and the amount of evaporation and permeation of gasoline from the resin layer stored thereinto to calculate the amount of permeation from the resin layer measured. This enables measurement of permeability of the resin layer quickly using a low cost measuring apparatus. |
