The spring rings which are concentric around a common axis (5) are separated from each other by a first support (4) and enclosed jointly by a second support (3) which passes through the first support with a coaxial projection (6). One of the two supports is in one piece and the spring rings and projection are spaced radially from each other. At least one of the spring rings (1, 2) is defined radially inside and outside in an axial area by stop faces (7) set behind and at a distance from counter stop faces (8) of the support parts. The counter stop faces can have a lesser distance from the stop faces (7) in the area of the end face of the second spring ring than in the projecting area. At least one of the rings is made of a foamed elastomer material and at least one of the rings is pretensioned. USE/ADVANTAGE - The support bearing has axially reduced dimensions and is easier to fit since there are fewer individual parts.
