The front side (2) and/or the rear side (3) of the packaging, prior to application of the closure, are fully or partially provided with a series of indentations (6). The front side, for formation of the accommodation space (5) for the product (4) is given an outwardly bowed formation, whilst the rear side (3) is flat, or alternatively, both front and rear sides can be bowed outwards. One surface inside the closure on the front and rear sides is provided with indentations. A further alternative arrangement involves the front side within the surface of the closure (7) provided with a part indentation, leaving an unindented surface in the central area of the accommodation space, whilst the rear side has no indentations. USE/ADVANTAGE - For packing compresses and similar flat medical products, in which the accommodation space is maintained free of material tensions which are liable to affect adversely the seal.
