System for double lining pipes - first closes branch pipes before rolling in hose filled with glass-fibre plastics

The existing branch pipes are completely or partially lined before lining the main pipe and then all branch pipes are closed by a foam stopper. During the double lining the inverting hose (4) supports the material, in the connecting area slides the stopper (10) into the branch pipe, presses the material resting on same against the wall and into all the hollow cavities in the branch pipe and thus seals the lining. The branch pipes are lined using a pressure body (1) having an inflatable seal matching the branch opening. The hose is made from or filled with glass fibre plastics and has a separating means. On inflating the sealing sleeve the end of the lining hose is pressed against the inside wall of the tube. The first thinner layer is made of slow setting duroplastics elastomer and the second layer is quick-setting and filled with glass fibres, glass balls or quartz. USE/ADVANTAGE - The lining inserted in existing pipe is securely set but absorbs shrinkage tensions.
