PURPOSE:To save labor and time required for the setting of a format by determining a proper format based upon the quantity of a series of document data stored in a document data storage means and paper size specified by a paper size specifying means. CONSTITUTION:A form determining means 3 determines a proper form based upon the quantity of a series of document data stored in the document data storage means 1 and paper size specified by a paper size specifying means 2 for specifying paper size to by used at the time of printing out the document data stored in the means 1. Thereby the number of columns, the number of lines, a column pitch, etc., of paper can be automatically set up to optimum values at the time of setting up the form of an inputted series of document data. Consequently labor and time required for the format setting can be reduced. |
