PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an image fault such as missing dots on an image forming mask material even when impurities are contained in a thermal transfer sheet. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer sheet 1 having at least a light impervious thermal transfer layer 21 and a receiving sheet 7 are superposed one upon another and an arbitrary pattern is printed under heating from the rear of the thermal transfer sheet 1 and, subsequently, the thermal transfer sheet 1 is released. The thermal transfer sheet 1 is again superposed on the receiving sheet 7 and the same pattern is superposed on the same place of the receiving sheet 7 twice or more to be printed to prepare an image forming mask material. Since re-printing is applied to the same place, the receiving sheet 7 after thermal transfer is fed back to be accurately aligned. |
