PURPOSE:To prevent a gas leak, increase a gas utilization rate, increase the effective surface of a cell, reduce a leak current, and improve the performance of a fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:A separator 11 comprising a gas supply recessed part provided in a center part on both surfaces, and a plural header parts 14 provided while penetrating from one surface to the other surface around the gas supply recessed part and having flow passage for supplying and discharging fuel gas and oxidation gas to/from the recessed part respectively, a gas diffusion electrode 12 held in the center part of the separator 11, and packing materials 15 sandwiched in the header parts 14 are provided. |
