发明名称 PRODUCTION OF PHENOLIC RESIN COMPOSITION, SHEETLIKE MOLDING MATERIAL AND FIBER-REINFORCED PLASTIC MOLDED PRODUCT
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a composition excellent in thickening ability and storage stability, useful for producing sheet-like molding materials and fiber-reinforced plastic molded products, by incorporating a specific resol-type phenolic resin with magnesium oxide and filler. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) a resol-type phenolic resin 16-22 (pref. 18-20)wt.% in water content, 300-700 (pref. 500-700) in weight-average molecular weight and pref. 0.1-1.25 in viscosity, prepared by reaction between phenol and an aldehyde in the presence of an alkaline catalyst with (B) 3-6 (pref. 4-6)wt.% of magnesium oxide and (C) 10-250 (pref. 50-150)wt.% of a filler (pref. calcium carbonate) and, when needed, (D) releasant, curing catalyst etc. One of the other objectives, the title sheet-like molding material, can be obtained by putting the present composition, together with a reinforcing material such as glass fiber, in between two sheets of film. The remaining objective fiber-reinforced plastic molded product, can be obtained by compression molding of the sheet-like molding material using a mold.
