<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electromagnetic ball lock type coupling which facilitates remote-control and which can disconnect a fluid pipe in a dangerous place where artificial manipulation cannot be made of a place where generation of dust is extremely unpreferable. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 25 for attaching and removing a ball lock is fitted slidably on the outer periphery of a socket body 20, and side yokes 28, 29, a main yoke 30, a permanent magnet 3 and coils 32, 33 constitute the so-called bi-stable latching solenoid. The reciprocation of the sleeve 25 is regulated by switching the supply of d.c. current to the coils 32, 33 so as to attach and remove the ball lock. Further, an external lead wire 34 can be easily prolonged, thereby it is possible to easily carry out the remote control.</p> |
