<p>PURPOSE:To provide such a golf club head which is light in weight and whose elastic modulus is low so as to enable a beginner, a woman, and aged person having weak strength, old man, etc., to enjoy large enough flying distance and a stable trajectory. CONSTITUTION:The golf club head consists of a double structure of a shell layer 1 of high density of a metal of about 7.2-8.9 specific gravity, and a core layer 2 of low density of about 2.0-4.0 specific density formed by filling a hollow part of this shell layer 1 with coarse metallic powder, and thereafter, sintering it, and desirably, the shell layer is separated into a face surface part and a back face surface part and a temporary sintered body is formed, and thereafter, both of them are formed as a sintered body coupled at the time of regular sintering. Accordingly, such a head which is light in weight and whose elastic modulus is low as the whole specific gravity is about 4.0-6.0 and the elastic modulus is about 13000kgf per 1 square mm is obtained, and when this head is formed somewhat large to some extent and attached to a long-sized shaft, anybody can enjoy a stable trajectory and flying distance.</p> |
