PURPOSE:To improve the sealing property of a sliding roof by preventing the sucking phenomenon of a weather strip during a high-speed travel. CONSTITUTION:A sliding roof 3 is constituted of a roof glass 4 and a weather strip 5, and a hollow seal section 6 is formed on the weather strip 5. A window frame 9 is fitted on the periphery of a skylight 2, and an elastic member 10 is provided at the portion corresponding to the weather strip 5 of the window frame 9. A wire 12 is inserted into the window frame 9 and connected to a motor installed on a roof section 1. When a sliding roof 3 is closed, the wire 12 is wound with the motor, and the elastic member 10 is deformed and pressed to the weather strip 5. The sliding roof 3 is held on the window frame 9 with a strong face pressure. When the wire 12 is loosened, the elastic member 10 is returned to the original shape, and the sliding roof 3 is smoothly opened or closed with a low face pressure. |
