PURPOSE:To improve operability at the time of repeatedly printing out data on a prescribed position or range of paper. CONSTITUTION:The printing range of document data stored in a RAM 108 and displayed on a display 105 is specified and stored through a keyboard 101 and the form or printing range of the specified document data is changed by specification from the keyboard 101 and the number of printable characters is displayed on the display 105. The rotational frequency of a rotated carriage motor 120 is stored in a RAM 115 based upon an instruction through the keyboard 101, and after printing, the carriage motor 120 is returned up to the stored position. When repeated printing is set up, a cursor is moved to document data next to the printing range of the stored document data. |
