PURPOSE: To execute automatic landing operation within the limit of current standard requirements and to execute automatic landing operation in a manner that simulate standard manual landing operation by a method wherein it is detected whether or not a side wind state from the engine side under operation stop is present and a signal to lower a wing on the engine side under a stop of operation is fed. CONSTITUTION: When an operation stop of one of engines is confirmed by an engine trouble indicator 18 and an engine-out multiplier 20 and an aircraft performs automatic landing operation, a signal generated by processing an angle of attack signal is multiplied by the engine-out multiplier 20, and by an engine-out side slip command signal, a side-slip is induced based on an engine-out position. When side with blows from the same side as the engine-out side, a signal generated by the processing signal procedures described above is filtered, and fed as an engine-out sideslip command signal to level wings or lower an upwind wing during approach. |
