<p>PURPOSE:To save time and labor for selecting a setting condition at the time of starting up a personal computer. CONSTITUTION:When a key is not depressed (S1) within a fixed time after turning on a power supply, startup processing is executed (S2) based upon a set condition. When the key is depressed (S1) within the fixed time, selectable initializing data and instructions for selection are displayed on a screen, and when a user interactively selects displayed data, startup processing is executed (S3) based upon the selected initialization data. The selected initializing data are outputted to a specified output means (S4 to S6).</p> |
