<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the necessary number of extractor for a predetermined extraction amount. CONSTITUTION:Heavy liquid solution of spent nuclear fuel is sent to a first row and first column extractor 1-1 to a first row and Nth column extractor 2-1 to an Mth row and first column extractor 1-2 to an Mth row and Nth column extractor 2-2. Light liquid is sent to the first column and Mth row extractor 1-2 to the first column and first row extractor 1-1. The light liquid is also sent to the Nth column and Mth row extractor 2-2 to the Nth column and first row extractor 2-1. The light liquid extracts uranium 235, etc., in the heavy liquid during passing each extractor 1-2 and 1-1 and the light liquid also extracts uranium 235, etc., in the heavy liquid during passing the each extractor 2-2 and 2-1 and therefore, the extraction amount of uranium 235, etc., can be increased more than the conventional way on the same number of extractor basis. In other words, the necessary extractor number for a predetermined extraction amount can be reduced.</p> |
