The nut (5) which is coaxial with the threaded spindle (1) has in its bore several parallel ring grooves and protrusions whereby rollers are spaced out circumferentially in the ring space between spindle and bore. The pitch (S) of the screw thread (20) of the spindle is a whole number multiple of the centre spacings (M) of the ring grooves (22, 24) from the nut body (5) and rollers, and the number of rollers (8) corresponds to this multiple. The multiple is preferably 3 to 6 in the case of a single-threaded spindle, and the number of rollers overall is pref. between 3 and 6. The nut and/or rollers can have two axial sections be off-set from those of the other section by an amount differing from the whole-number multiple.
