The damping element has a controlled, non-linear resistance (D1) in the bridiging path and a second controlled non-linear resistance (D2) in the vertical T arm. The damping characteristic is determined via a current source (IQ) connected betwen the 2 series non-linear resistances (D1,D2), the latter supplied with a temp.-dependent voltage via a voltage source (UQ), for obtaining a current through the non-linear resistances (D1,D2) which is independent of the temp.. Pref. the voltage source (IQ) uses a difference amplifier (V) with 2 further non-linear resistances (D1',D2') in its feedback circuit. ADVANTAGE - Simple damping variation and matching of input and output.
