Roller has a rigid axial body which does not revolve and an outer roller sleeve which holds body inside and which does revolve. The longitudinal axis of the sleeve can be adjusted with a transverse component at right angles to the body; an adjustable internal force acting on both outer sleeve and static body is between these two components members and can exert forces acting on the sleeve in the direction of outer contact. Pref. pressure roller for a reeling-roller has the inner rigid non-revolving body (1) held at the ends inside the outer revolving sleeve (7) whose ends have bearing flanges (5) with smaller dia.
