<p>PURPOSE:Oil is added to used cotton that has been previously washed and dried to improve bulkiness and touch and simultaneously to increase durability to the same level as fresh cotton. CONSTITUTION:For example, used cotton is cut with a cutter and opened with an opener. Then, it is washed with a detergent, dehydrated and dried. An oil preparation made from cotton seed oil or other oil is sprayed on the used cotton by 0.1- 1wt% or a cotton containing excessive oil is mixed therewith. Finally, they are formed with a forming machine such as an opener, carding machine or other machines into bed mats.</p> |
