PURPOSE:To obtain the random number generator not to fix a random number sequence to be generated but to generate a random number to be hardly estimated concerning the random number generator used for ciphering data. CONSTITUTION:A shift register 1 shifts data from left to right at peculiar timing. With the shifting, one bit is complemented to the left end, and one bit at the right end is outputted as the random number. For the bit to be complemented, one bit to be outputted is selected by ANDing data in a data holding part 2 and the shift register 1 by '3' corresponding to each bit and afterwards executing exclusive OR operation by '4' concerning all the bits. |
