<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate faults such as production of burrs, etc., by cutting a pipe to be cut held by a clamp first at its lower half with a lower blade and then at its upper half with an upper blade to reduce cutting load. CONSTITUTION:An upward lower blade 2 and a downward upper blade 3 are installed under and upper a blade holder B on both sides of a stand-blade common clamp 3, respectively. A holding guide 8 provided at the top end of the blade holder B holds a ram rail 9a of a ram 9 which is a part of a crank mechanism to slide the guide 8 up and down by the transmission of the ram 9 which is slid up and down by the crank motion. In one cycle of motion of the crank mechanism, first the lower blade 2 shears the lower half of the cross section of a pipe A to be cut held by the stand-blade common clamp 3 and then the upper blade 1 shears the upper half of it to cut off the pipe.</p> |
