PURPOSE:To produce a catalyst for oxidation-reduction of noxious gas by coating the surfaces of fine noble metal particles with different metals at a regulated arbitrary coating rate. CONSTITUTION:Ions of different metals for coating are incorporated into a soln. contg. suspended fine noble metal particles or noble metal supported fine particles and the oxidation-reduction potential of the soln. is varied to coat the surfaces of the fine noble metal particles with the different metals. |
