<p>PURPOSE:To enable the carry of a ball to be increased and slice to be easily corrected by bending a neck part such that at least a part of the neck portion in the address makes contact with the horizontal surface of the ground and a head body is spaced upward from the surface of the ground. CONSTITUTION:A neck portion 4 formed integrally with the head body 3 of a golf club 1 is formed to bend from the axis X of a shaft 5 toward the head body 3 side. For example, the neck portion 4 is bent at first and second bends 7, 8 to form nearly straight first-third necks 4a-4c by bordering the bends. Thus, at least a part of the neck portion 4, for example the first bend 7 is adapted to make contact with the horizontal surface of the ground G at the times address. The bend 7 makes contact with the surface of the ground G right before the face surface 2 hits a ball 9 in the swing so that a large hitting force can be given to the ball 9 by the head body 3 rotating about the bend 7 in such a manner as swinging its head.</p> |
