PURPOSE:To select balancing between capability and noise, satisfying the needs of users in an air conditioner employing a once-through fan as a fan and including a nose part for said fan by constructing said nose part such that the configuration and shape of said nozzle are alterable. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner includes an indoor heat exchanger 1, a once- through fan 3 as a fan, and a nose part 4 paired with the former formed on part of a water pan 2. thereupon, the nose part 4 is constructed to be alterable in its configuration and location. For example, the nose part 4 is formed in a fitting manner and a plurality of such nose parts different in configurations are constructed to be exchangeable. By selectively fitting a plurality of types if the nose parts 4, the size of a gap a between each nose part 4 and the once- through fan 3 is altered and hereby balancing between the amount of air and noise is selected in the once-through fan 3. Thus, balancing between capability and noise in the air conditioner can be selected, satisfying needs of users. |
