A panel system (10) has panels (12) disposed side by side and connected together by connecting elements (14). The elements (12, 14) are constructed from cardboard or plastics sheets. The connecting elements may have line slots (36, 38) or centre apertures (37) which form slots when the connecting element is folded and which grip folded back edges (50, 52) of adjacent panel elements, while dovetail slots (22, 24) in the panel edges retain the connecting elements in position, once the latter have been partially unfolded after insertion. |
