PURPOSE:To attempt to reduce noise and shift and, at the same time, shorten shifting time by electrically raising rotational speed of the gear on the side of an internal combustion engine by means of a squirrel-cage induction machine at the shift down time of a transmission, and synchronizing it with the rotational speed of the gear on the side of a shaft. CONSTITUTION:An electrical means 10 which gives a braking magnetic field that reduces rotational speed or an acceleration magnetic field that increases the rotational speed to a squirrel-cage induction machine 2 connected directly to the main shaft of an internal combustion engine 1 is provided. Also, an automatic shifting means 23 that automatically controls a transmission 21 and a clutch 22 in response to a control signal generated by driving operation is provided. In an auxiliary braking acceleration device constituted in this manner, an acceleration auxiliary means 8 that receives the signal from the automatic shifting means 23 and gives the acceleration magnetic field to the squirrel-cage induction machine in its neutral position at the shift down time of the transmission 21 is provided to the electrical means 10. The rotational speed of the squirrel-cage induction machine 2 is increased until it target rotational speed by the action of the said means 8, thereby the shock at the shifting time is reduced. |
