PURPOSE:To suppress the corrugation of a carcass layer and the undulation of the external surface of the side wall portion in the tire in which reinforcing elements are buried in reinforcing plies so as to elongate in parallel with the equatorial plane E as a whole and so as to curve in a wavy shape. CONSTITUTION:An reinforcing ply 36 is divided into two regions (38,39) and 40. The phase (or the wave length) of the reinforcing elements 37 in the region (38, 39) is determined so as to differ from the phase (or the wave length) of the reinforcing elements 37 in the region 40, so that the force acting on the carcass layer 21 is reduced by dispersing the forces, which is generated when these reinforcing elements 37 are elongated, in the circumferential direction or by cancelling them each other. |
