<p>PURPOSE:To completely grasp the finished state of a picture before it is taken and to enable even a beginner to appropriately take a picture with desired depicting degree without necessitating skill in the various exposure modes of a camera. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with an exposure mode setting means SMD capable of selectively setting plural exposure modes, a depicting effect decision means (microcomputer) 1 which calculates the depicting effect of the picture taken based on photographing conditions AV and TV decided according to the set modes, and decides the degree of the depicting effect, display means 61 and 62 provided with display parts 41-47 corresponding to the respective exposure modes and capable of stepwise display, and display control means 1 and 6 for displaying the degree obtained by the depicting effect decision means stepwise on the display part of the corresponding exposure mode.</p> |
