<p>PURPOSE:To provide an automatic paper feeding device for an image forming device preventing double-feeding positively so as to enable sheet-by-sheet delivery regardless of the thickness of fed sheets even in the case of the sheets in a sheaf of sheets are mutually attached by electrostatic force or the like. CONSTITUTION:A sheet aligning plate 10 capable of adjusting a gap with a feed roller is provided at the front end wall 2 of a paper supply cassette 1, and the gap is to be large enough for one sheet part in the paper thickness of fed sheets to pass easily but to impede the passing of two sheets.
