PURPOSE:To protect an adhesive face from dust or the like by providing a standing-by paper passing body with a locking means for locking web paper with adhesive material, and a moving cover additionally provided to move in such a way as to cover/expose the adhesive face selectively. CONSTITUTION:A web paper sticking device A is provided around the downstream side of a slitter 2, and a paper locking part 4 stands by. A plate 9 is fixed to a frame, and a sleeve 10 is fixed to one face of the plate 9. An arm 12 is inserted therein, and the take-up body Q of an adhesive tape Q1 is mounted thereto so that the pulled-out adhesive tape Q1 is stuck to the web paper P1 by a pressing roller 13. A cover 6 is supported on a rod, piercing the plate 9 and the hollow hole of the sleeve 10, elongated by a cylinder 14. When the web paper P is detected by a sensor L, the cylinder 14 is elongated to move the cover 6, so that the adhesive tape Q1, take-up body Q, pressing roller 13 and arm 12 of a locking means B covered by the cover 6 are exposed to perform sticking work. These are covered by the cover 6 at the non-working time. |
