PURPOSE:To allow the receiver to be used over plural radio calling systems whose call system is different with respect to the radio calling receiver used for a broad band radio calling system or the like. CONSTITUTION:The user of the radio calling receiver uses a selection input section 102 receive selection information corresponding to a district based on the radio calling system of the district of a mobile destination. Thus, a selection section 103 selects call information corresponding to the district from a registration section 101. A local oscillating frequency of the radio reception section, for example, and an identification number of a decode section are set so that the receiver receives a message of the district based on the calling information. Or a radio frequency detection section 104 automatically detects the radio frequency of a district where the user is resident in place of manual input of selection information by the selection input section 102 and the result is used as the selection information and a registration section 101 selects the calling information. Thus, it is not required for the user to recognize the district where the user itself is resident. |
