METHOD FOR PREPARING SAMPLE OF MICRO-TRANSMISSION MEASURING METHOD BY MICROINFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETER

PURPOSE:To transfer all samples to an infrared crystal so that the effect of rolling can be effectively utilized to all samples by burying the rolled samples in KBr tablets. CONSTITUTION:KBr powder 5 is placed on a sample 3 which is rolled to a thickness suitable for measurement by means of a press after the sample 3 is placed on the die 2 of a KBr tablet making device and stuck to the die 2 and the powder 5 and sample 3 are pressed. As a result, such a KBr tablet 6 that the sample 3 adhering to the die 2 is buried in the surface section of the tablet 6 is obtained. The tablet 6 is subjected to transmission measurement. When this method is used, the torsion of the sample or the occurrence of a gap between the sample and an infrared crystal which result in a decline in the quality of spectra at the time of transmission measurement can be eliminated.
