PURPOSE:To attain proper control without discrepancy between the operating state of a camera and a lens and their display in the case of having a switch turning on/off an automatic focusing function individually for the lens side and the camera side. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a 1st discrimination means 11 discriminating the operating mode of a focusing control means set at a lens side, a 2nd discrimination means 19 discriminating the operating mode of a focusing control means set at a camera side, display means 21, 22 displaying the operating state of the focusing control means onto the camera side, and a control means controlling the display means based on outputs of the 1st and 2nd discrimination means, and when the lens side is set to the automatic focusing control mode, the camera side decides ON/OFF of the automatic focusing control mode and when the lens side is set to the manual focusing control mode, the manual focusing control mode is set regardless of the setting by the camera side, and when both the lens side and the camera side are set to the automatic focusing mode, the automatic focusing control mode are executed and each operating state is displayed on the camera side. |
