A mobile radio system comprises a number of base stations and connected to these first mobile units working with inner and outer antenna devices and second mobile units working with inner and outer antenna devices. The base stations are provided with first antenna devices and second antenna devices which are connected to an evaluation device. The evaluation device is arranged to carry out measurements of the signal strength from a selected second mobile unit's outer antenna device and inner antenna device respectively by means of the first and second antenna devices. The evaluating device thereafter creates a first representation of the measured signal strength from the second mobile unit's outer antenna device and a second representation of measured signal strength from the second mobile unit's inner antenna device. The first and the second representations are created depending upon the difference in the median between the measured signal strengths of the abovementioned first and second antenna devices. The evaluation device is also arranged to take signal strength measurements of the first mobile units and compare these signal strength differences in the median between the first and second antenna devices. The evaluation device compares the first and second representations with the measured signal strength differences from the first and second mobile units and creates a third representation of the ratio between the first mobile units working with outer antenna devices and the first mobile units working with inner antenna devices. <IMAGE> |
