The supplies to a three-phase sync. motor (SN) are sampled by 32-bit digital sampling device (T32) to obtain time discrete sampled current (i) and voltage (u) signals. These signals are processed by a Kalman filter to generate a predicted error vector (X) which is divided into rotational (omega) and angular (upsilon) errors. The rotational error is subtracted from the desired rotational speed (omega soll) and fed to a field regulator that produces two current values (i'IA, i'IB). The latter are integrated with the angular error to produce a further two signals (iIA, iIB) and integrated to form driving signals for the synchronous motor pulse width modulator (PWM). ADVANTAGE - Kalman filter control obviates need for motor-mounted sensors, reducing total machine volume. |
