The appts. to apply a heat treatment to piecegoods, partic. drying and condensing, has a dividing wall with a simple opening passage for the fabric between the heating zone and the dwell zone which follows it directly. The first heater blower assembly of the heating zone has a control and adjustment to direct the hot air delivered by the jet boxes as beating streams. The second heater blower assembly is adjustable to maintain a constant holding temp. in the dwell zone.
