PURPOSE:To increase the amt. of a waste gas to be treated and to miniaturize the device by providing a cylindrical fluidized-bed reactor with the inner peripheral surface as a distributing plate freely rotatably in an outer cylinder for introducing a gas to be treated and automatically supplying and exchanging the catalyst. CONSTITUTION:An engine is started to drive an exhaust pipe 7 through a reduction mechanism and a transmitting mechanism, a fluidized-bed reactor 1 is also rotated, and the catalyst 6 in the reactor 1 is held to the inner surface of a distributing plate 2 by the centrifugal force and fluidized. Meanwhile, the waste gas is introduced simultaneously with the start of the engine into the reactor from an inlet pipe 13 through an inlet outer cylinder 12 and the distributing plate 2 by the gas pressure and brought into contact with the catalyst. The catalyst 6 in the catalyst reservoir 9a of a catalyst supply pipe 9 is supplied to the fluidized bed by the centrifugal force through the supply passage 5a of a barrel 5, and the deteriorated and powdered catalyst 6 is sprung out of a discharge port 11 and recovered. Consequently, a high fluidizing gas linear velocity is obtained, the amt. of the waste gas to be treated is increased, and the waste gas is efficiently treated. |
