<p>PURPOSE:To enable continuous paper feed even when a device body is installed either vertically or horizontally by enabling a continuous paper feed tray to be installed in its device body so that paper sheets can be accumulated in the tray even when a printer is installed either in a vertical condition or in a horizontal condition, and enabling a paper feed roller unit to be displaced to its orientation against the continuous paper feed tray even when the printer is installed either in the vertical condition or in the horizontal condition. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 7 is arranged in the inside central part of a printer body 20, and process units such as a charged roller 6, a LED head 8, a developing device 9, a transcribing roller 10 and cleaner 11 are arranged around the drum 7. Furthermore, paper feed units such as a fitting port 21, a continuous paper feed tray 1 and a paper feed roller unit 2 are arranded on the right of the printer body 20. The paper feed roller unit 2 is constituted of a paper feed roller 3, a pickup roller 4 and a frictional member 5, and a shaft 31 of the paper feed roller 3 is pivoted so as to be rotatable. In the case when the printer body is installed vertically, by rotating the shaft 31 of the paper feed roller 3 as its center, the continuous paper feed tray 1 can be inserted from a fitting port 22.</p> |
