<p>A propulsion device is provided for propelling and steering marine vessels of all kinds, whether on the surface or underwater. The device includes a pump with a fixed body (P) and circular and concentric inlet and outlet openings at the bottom thereof, one of said openings being central and the other peripheral. The pump further comprises a curved channel (1) provided between said openings for reversing the flow. A suction and discharge body (AR1) is pivotally mounted about an axis (X-X) running through both the inlet and the outlet of the pump, and adjusted to guide the incoming flow from the suction port (Ba) to the pump inlet, and to guide the outgoing flow from the outlet of the pump to the discharge port (Br). The device may be used in all vessels regardless of power.</p> |
