Bottle bin with braking device - has slotted bands above floor to break fall of bottles and minimise breakage

The bottle bin has a braking device inside below the fill opening to span part of the bin interior. The device should consist or a number of brake bands (16, 18) arranted in a stack and with textile surface and spaced slots (22) whcih open up under the weight of a bottle. Pref. the bands form separate parts joined by the slots so as to run at parallel spacing and join up at their side ends to complete a slotted cloth apron area. The area is pref. woven, knitted or other textile coated in plastics or rubber. USE/ADVANTAGE - Waste collection, bottle banks. Rubber etc. coated textile brake bands below fill opening slot open under bottle load to cushion impact and prevent excessive breakage.
