<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the optional switching of both face-up discharge and face-down discharge modes and allow the paper discharge in a convenient discharge mode, for example, as a sheet carrying device for image forming device. CONSTITUTION:A first passage 18 for sheet carrying, a second passage 22 branched from the passage 18, a third passage 24 connecting the first passage part with the second passage part, an optional switching member 17 for the first and second passages, a sheet carrying means 20 disposed near the connecting part between the first and third passages and switchingly driven so as to be reciprocally rotatable, a valve member 19 for prohibiting the reverse advance into the first passage of a sheet reversely carried by the reverse rotation of the carrying means and guiding the sheet to the third passage, a sheet carrying means 23a disposed near the connecting part between the second and third passages and switchingly driven so as to be reciprocally rotatable, and a valve member 34 prohibiting the reverse advance into the second passage of the sheet reversely carried by the reverse rotation of the carrying means and guiding it to the third passage are provided.</p> |
