PURPOSE:To provide the above interrupting system for DC electric vehicle which does not produce arc. CONSTITUTION:In the interrupting system for DC electric vehicle comprising a pantograph 2 receiving DC power, contactors 15a, 15b disposed between the pantograph and a load, and a circuit breaker 13, the contactors 15a, 15b comprise vacuum contactors and the circuit breakers 13 comprises a non-current reduction circuit breaker. Since vacuum contactors can be employed, an arcless interrupting system is realized and the risk of fire due to arc can be eliminated. Furthermore, maintenance is facilitated and restriction on the instrumentation due to arc can be released. |
