PURPOSE:To surely destaticize a photosensitive body and to stably obtain high image quality as for the destaticization device of an electrophotographic copying device which develops an electrostatic latent image by toner which is electrostatically charged to identical polarity to the surface of the photosensitive body and transfers the toner image thereof on a recording medium through an intermediate transfer body. CONSTITUTION:In the electrophotographic copying device which develops the electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive body (photosensitive drum) 1 by the toner which is electrostatically charged to the identical polarity to the electrostatic charge polarity of the surface of the body 1, transfers the toner image thereof on the intermediate transfer body (intermediate transfer drum) 2 from the body 1 and transfers it on the recording medium (recording paper) 100 from the body 2 besides, the body 1 is destaticized by bringing an electrical conductive brush 15c on which an AC voltage is impressed into contact with the surface of the body 1 at a position where the toner image is transferred on the body 2 or by arranging a corona discharge means 115 by being faced to the position.
