PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of a word processor by providing a cursor shift means, a means which holds the set/erasion states of the ruled lines, and a means which sets and erases the ruled lines in response to the held set/erasion states and the cursor shift. CONSTITUTION:A document production processing part 2 contains a ruled line processing part 21 which attains such ruled line functions for the setting, the erasion, the shift, and the copying, etc., of the ruled lines, etc. The part 21 includes a cursor shift means 211, a ruled line set/erasion means 212 which sets and erases the ruled lines in response to the shift of a cursor, a set/erasion state holding means 213 which hold the setting or erasing state of the ruled lines, a ruled line attribute changing means 214 which changes the attribute of the ruled line to be set, etc. Then both means 211 and 213 decide the need for setting the ruled lines, and both means 212 and 211 shift the cursor to set or erase the ruled lines. |
