PURPOSE:To obtain machine translation system which can easily check the types of words and phrases translated from the words and phrases of the original sentences. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a translation means 3 translating the 1st language data inputted from an input means 1 into the 2nd language data, a recording means 4 recording the 1st language data and the translated 2nd language data, a word/phrase extraction means 5 extracting the words and phrases out of the 1st or 2nd language data, a word-phrase pair recording means 6 recording the pairs of data corresponding to the words and phrases extracted out of the 1st language data and the 2nd language data respectively by the means 5, and a control means 7 controlling these means 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Thus it is possible to easily check the types of words and phrases translated from the words and phrases of the original sentences. |
