PURPOSE:To enhance shadow reproducibility, plate wear and the resistance of a silicone rubber layer to flawing by incorporating a compd. having a specific constitutional unit into a primer layer and/or photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The compd. having the constitutional formula expressed by formula I is incorporated into the dampening waterless photosensitive planographic printing plate having the primer layer, the photosensitive layer and the silicone rubber layer in this order on a substrate. The photosensitive layer of the dampening waterless photosensitive planographic printing plate having the photosensitive layer and the silicone rubber layer in this order on the substrate is formed as a photopolymn. type or photodimerization type; in addition, the compd. having the constitutional unit expressed by the formula I at its main chain is incorporated into this photosensitive layer. In the formula, R denotes a hydrogen atom or methyl group; (n) denotes integre >=2. This dampening waterless photosensitive planographic printing plate is applicable to both of a type with which only the silicone rubber layer on image parts is removed after development and a type with which the photosensitive layer of the image parts is removed and the primer layer of the image parts is exposed after the development. |
