Described is a column for separation of substance mixtures with a liquid medium. A cylindrical tube (1) has a closure at each end. At least one of the closures is a movable piston. The piston has a socket which is radially expandible by axial pressing of two interacting conical parts, for sealing of the piston against the inner wall of the column. |
